Student Work - Hatching & Cross-Hatching technique

October 2008. Antelope View art students created designs on scratch board by utilizing hatching and cross hatching techniques. They had the option of black on gold or black on white. Students were able to experiment with a new subtractive art form, and recall past lessons on the element of art: Value. This project also helped to refine observational drawing skills.
